Broken Records are a six-piece indie-folk band from Edinburgh Scotland, which formed in December 2006. The band are signed to 4AD and released their debut album, Until the Earth Begins to part in 2009. The band was originally a three-piece with Jamie Sutherland, brother Rory Sutherland (violin, guitar, accordion), and Ian Turnbull (guitar, piano). They have performed at Glastonbury, T in the Park and Latitude - and they supported The National. In 2010 saw they UK?EU release of their second album, “Let Me Come Home” recorded with producer Tony Doogan (Mogwai, Delgados, Belle amp; Sebastian,) to good reviews. In 2011 they released "Let Me Come Home" in the U.S where they did a headline tour.
