Julie Fowlis, Gaelic singer, performed at the Burns International concert The Hydro, Celtic Connections 2014. She won BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards 2006 and 2008. She appeared on BBC2 Jools Holland show 2007. In 2012 Fowlis sang "Touch the Sky" and "Into the Open Air" on the Pixar film Brave.
