I hope to offer classy and artistic images that express the artist's music. As an artist and musician (my son is also a musician in a rock band) I bring my two passions together in Music Photography. I have travelled and worked in America for ten years. I began to take my photography work seriously a couple of years ago in 2008 and have taken for several prestigious festivals - Celtic Connections and Edinburgh Fringe festival. I took images of 3 legends last year - Elton John, Fleetwood Mac, Richard Thompson. Plus Martha Wainwright, Solange Knowles, Beth Neilsen Chapman, Danny Thompson. And for emerging artists. My aim is good use of light, composition and story-telling through instinctive feel for the time, mood and place. |
